cilantro
Even though it is only consumed in small amounts, cilantro still provides many important nutrients, including vitamins A, C, and K, as well as folate, potassium, and magnesium. It’s often used in Mexican dishes.

Available year-round!

Store cilantro by placing the stem into a glass of water (like a vase of flowers) and covering the leaves with a plastic bag. Place the glass of water in the fridge, where it can be stored for at least 2 weeks. Change the water when it begins to discolor.
-
Cooking cilantro will take away most of its flavor. Instead, add freshly chopped cilantro toward the end of cooking a dish.
