Store unwashed cranberries in a sealed plastic bag in the refrigerator for up to 2 months.

Make homemade cranberry sauce by adding 12 ounces of fresh cranberries with 1/2 cup sugar and 1 cup boiling water in a saucepan. Mix and bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer until desired consistency is reached, about 10 minutes.
