Pineapples are a great source of vitamin A & C. Pineapple is great on its own but can also be enjoyed grilled, in smoothies, in salsas, or even added into salads or rice bowls.

Store pineapples on the counter until they’re ripe, which is when you can smell the pineapple from the outside. Once the pineapple is ripe, eat it immediately or move it to the fridge to keep it from ripening further.
-
Try adding some spice to your pineapple! Cut the pineapple into wedges, squeeze lime juice over the wedges, and sprinkle with salt, cayenne pepper, mint, and cilantro.
