Swiss chard is a good source of vitamins A, C, & K, as well as iron and fiber. Both the leaves and stems of Swiss chard are edible. Like spinach, Swiss chard can be added to soups, pastas, salads, or lentils.

Store Swiss chard in a plastic bag in the refrigerator for up to 5 days and don’t wash until you’re ready to use it.

The stems of Swiss chard will take longer to cook than the leaves, so use your hands or a small knife to pull the leaf away from the stem before rinsing.
