Tomatoes should be stored at room temperature, as storing them in the fridge will take away their flavor. They will continue to ripen on the counter.

Tomatoes can be introduced to babies when they are ready to start solids. Make sure to smash cherry and grape tomatoes or slice them into quarters lengthwise to minimize any choking hazards.
